Lots more running going on - I try to get in three or four good 10 or 12 mile runs a week at about 7 minute pace or a little faster - its what I need to do for the March 18th half marathon I've registered for. My job has been taking most of my time - I'll be out on a 4 day FTX in the field starting tomorrow, but once I'm back I'll get another nice hard run in, I'm sure I'll be jonesing for one by then. Cheers.

I'm a medic with the 18th Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC. My goal for 2012 is to make the Fort Bragg Army Ten Miler team at the tryout race in June. Then I would get to train and race with that 8 man team in preparation for the Army Ten Miler ihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifn Washington in October, which would be lovely.
This blog will be a sporadic diary of sorts detailing my efforts in this arena. For today I punched out a solid 10 mile run at the nice rubberized bouncy flat post track in 63 minutes, which is a personal best. Very excited about that. Garmin link here:

That is all for now - happy new year! May good things happen to good people.
